Cathy compassionately leads teams supporting care delivery for patients with chronic, complex, and advanced-stage illnesses. She has a proven track record of leading Medicare and Medicaid businesses and a deep passion for solving challenges affecting vulnerable populations. Additionally, Cathy is recognized for her expertise in growing and transforming healthcare organizations.

Cathy brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, including senior roles at Molina Healthcare, Blue Shield of California, Anthem, and Coventry Health. Before joining the organization, Cathy served as principal of CBC Advisers, providing advisory and consulting services to national healthcare startups.

Cathy holds bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism. She’s a founder of Wish Upon a Cure, a non-profit foundation for pediatric mitochondrial disease research, and currently serves on the board for the Mitochondrial and Metabolic Disease Center at University of California San Diego.
