Why have a nurse visit at home?
Your time is important — and your health is too. With regular care, you can stay healthier and be independent longer. This visit helps you and your doctor:
- Discuss concerns earlier when easier to treat.
- Make sure your medicines are working.
- Stay up to date with your care.
What you can expect
The visit takes about 45 to 60 minutes. Your care provider will:
- Ask about your health history and medications.
- Check your overall health, including your blood pressure, blood sugar, and eyes.
- Talk with you about your health goals.
- Share results with your regular doctor.
This in-home visit doesn’t replace your doctor. It adds an extra layer of support to help you stay on top of your health.
